Data Security

Last updated: June 2026

We do not sell your data. Your health information is used to power your dashboard, recommendations, reminders, and appointment preparation. You choose what to add and can update your information.

Overview

We take your privacy and data security seriously. This page explains, plainly and honestly, how information you enter during sign-up, onboarding, and dashboard use is handled.

What We Process

  • Account and sign-in information needed for authentication, security, and account management.
  • Profile information you choose to add, such as age, biological sex or relevant anatomy, location, lifestyle, health history, medications, vaccines, screenings, tests, and appointment notes.
  • Dashboard data generated from your profile, including recommendation status, risk factors, reminders, follow-up priorities, questions to ask, and visit-preparation summaries.
  • Limited technical logs, such as errors, performance metrics, security events, and information needed to keep the service reliable.

Where Processing Happens

When you use One Health, the information needed to provide the service is transmitted over encrypted connections to our systems and infrastructure providers. It is processed to create and maintain your account, personalize your dashboard, show relevant recommendations, save reminders, and prepare for appointments.

Some features may use secure services to organize your profile information, produce summaries, or generate helpful visit questions. These services should process only the data needed for the requested functionality.

Retention

Account, profile, and dashboard information may be retained while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Limited technical logs may be kept for a restricted period for reliability, security, and compliance.

Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications.
  • Application-level encryption for saved sensitive profile, dashboard, and visit-preparation data.
  • Access controls limiting operational access to authorized personnel only.
  • Account security options, such as recovery codes and supported sign-in methods, where available.
  • Operational monitoring, backups, and prompt remediation of vulnerabilities.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method is 100% secure. You use the service at your own risk.

Vendors and Transfers

We use third-party providers to deliver essential functions, including hosting, database services, authentication, email delivery, reliability analytics, performance monitoring, and certain secure processing or summarization features. These providers may process the information needed to operate One Health.

Your data may be processed or stored in the United States, Canada, or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where international transfers are required, we rely on applicable transfer mechanisms and contractual commitments from our providers.

We do not sell your data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility for acts or omissions of third-party providers that process data on our behalf. We may update our sub-processors and will reflect material changes by updating this page.

Your Choices

  • Choose what profile, health, prevention, and appointment information you add.
  • Update your onboarding answers, medications, vaccines, screenings, tests, notes, and reminders as your situation changes.
  • Browse public resources, such as screening guides, test pages, and educational articles, without signing in where those pages are publicly available.
  • Clear locally stored browser data and manage available sign-in or recovery options.
