Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

One Health is an educational and organizational tool. It does not replace a healthcare professional, does not provide diagnosis or treatment, and must never be used for a medical emergency.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing One Health, creating an account, or using the website, dashboard, educational resources, or appointment-preparation features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

If you use One Health for another person, you represent that you have that person's consent or the legal authority required to do so, and you accept these Terms for yourself and, where legally permitted, for that person.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
  • The service is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA or UK.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account, sign-in methods, recovery codes, and account activity secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate information where needed and to update your profile when your situation changes.
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Service Description

One Health provides a personal health dashboard and educational resources. The service may help you create a profile, organize certain health information, track medications, vaccines, screenings, tests, appointments, and reminders, show personalized recommendations, and prepare questions or summaries for healthcare visits.

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features at any time. Some features may be experimental, incomplete, unavailable in certain regions, or dependent on the information you choose to provide.

Educational and Organizational Use Only

One Health is provided for educational, organizational, and care-preparation purposes only. The service is not a healthcare provider, clinic, healthcare professional, medical device, telehealth service, or medical monitoring service.

Using One Health does not create a physician-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-patient, or other professional care relationship.

No Medical Advice

Information, recommendations, reminders, risk factors, questions, summaries, explanations, guides, and other content shown in One Health are not medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, clinical interpretation, treatment decisions, or final medical recommendations.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional with questions about a medical condition, symptom, screening, test, medication, vaccine, treatment, or care decision. Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of anything you see in One Health.

Medical Emergencies

One Health is not designed for emergencies, triage, real-time monitoring, or situations where delay could cause harm. In an emergency or if you have concerning symptoms, contact local emergency services or seek care from a healthcare professional immediately.

Accuracy, Recommendations, and Limits

  • Recommendations depend on the information you provide and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant if that information is missing, outdated, or incorrect.
  • Guidelines, public resources, and local rules may change, differ by region, or not apply to your full clinical situation.
  • Software-generated or software-organized content may contain errors, omissions, delays, or incorrect interpretations.
  • Your healthcare professional, local services, insurer, official medical record, and recommendations specific to your situation control over information shown in One Health.

Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Security page, which are incorporated into these Terms.

We do not sell your data. Account, profile, and dashboard information may be retained to provide the service, maintain security, prevent abuse, meet obligations, and improve reliability. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services and Transfers

We use third-party providers to deliver essential functions, such as hosting, databases, authentication, email, reliability analytics, performance monitoring, and certain secure processing or summarization features. These providers may process information needed to operate One Health.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, outages, breaches, errors, or independent practices of third-party services. Your data may be processed or stored in the United States, Canada, or other countries.

User Responsibilities

  • Use One Health only for personal, educational, organizational, and lawful purposes.
  • Verify important information with qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Enter only information that you have the right to provide and process.
  • Obtain any required consent or legal authority before using the service for another person.
  • Keep your credentials, devices, and recovery methods secure.
  • Do not use One Health as a clinical system, official medical record, triage tool, medical device, or decision tool for providing care to others.

Prohibited Uses

  • Use the service for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, discriminatory, or deceptive activity.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, probing, scanning, circumvention, disruption, or compromise of the service or its systems.
  • Transmit malicious code, overload infrastructure, automate access without permission, or scrape content at scale.
  • Violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights.
  • Resell, rent, sublicense, copy, or commercially exploit the service or its content without written permission.
  • Use the service to process data on behalf of a clinic, healthcare professional, health plan, employer, insurer, or other regulated entity without a separate written agreement.

Intellectual Property and User Content

One Health, its software, design, branding, text, compilations, interfaces, educational resources, and content we provide are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

You keep the rights you have in information you enter. You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, process, display, organize, and create outputs from that information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

Service Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee that the service will be available, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, current, or compatible with your needs. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical issues, business decisions, security, or reasons outside our control.

Warranty Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, security, availability, reliability, or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that recommendations, resources, reminders, risk factors, summaries, or other content will be correct, complete, current, medically appropriate, or suitable for your situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Health and its officers, employees, agents, suppliers, providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, use, expected savings, or business opportunity.

This includes damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, information shown, health decisions, errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, security incidents, third-party services, or reliance on any content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or CAD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In that case, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless One Health and its officers, employees, agents, suppliers, providers, and affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, loss, and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, your information, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, your use for another person, or any decision made based on the service.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or others, provided inaccurate information, or used the service in an abusive, illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized way.

We may retain or delete information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Data Security page, legal obligations, security needs, and retention practices.

Governing Law and Disputes

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and any dispute related to the service are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Ontario for disputes related to the service. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer or data-protection rights that cannot be excluded by contract.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised update date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with the pages they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and One Health regarding your use of the service.
